Portable closet – A portable closet is a terrific way to keep clothes clean while camping or traveling. It can be difficult to travel with large bulky items, so it is important to minimize the amount of space the cabinet will take up. Luckily it is very easy to assemble, disassemble and travel with a homemade portable closet.

Attach four of the six-inch dowel rods into a 5-way PVC pipe. Use the four openings pointing outwards in four opposite ways, in the north, south, east and west directions. Set PVC pipe up like a tripod, with the remaining opening pointing straight up. Repeat this process on May 2-way PVC pipes using the remaining six-inch rods for portable closet.

Insert a six meter dowel rod into the remaining upward-pointing track in each of the PVC pipe. Space the stands approximately six meters apart. Attach elbow PVC pipe to the top of the six-foot rods, pointing ends against each other. Connect the two ends of the rack by attaching the final six-foot pole to each elbow PVC tubes’ open ends. Ensure that the cabinet rack is stable. You should be able to safely hang the portable closet for clothes on the horizontal bar.
